Rescue

Aska’s Animals specializes in rescuing puppies and their mothers before they enter the shelter system or removing them from shelters. Our Puppy Palaces provide a safe, temporary home for many litters and their moms. Shelters can be harsh environments for puppies, often leading to behavioral issues and exposure to disease. Our regional and national partners frequently contact us about unwanted or accidental litters in need of a secure, nurturing place until they’re ready for adoption. Fortunately, Aska’s farm offers both the space and care to welcome these animals as they await their forever homes.

Canine Behavior

Aska’s Animals is committed to preventing pets from entering the shelter system and supporting the dogs and people in our community by implementing various strategies. One common reason animals end up in shelters is due to behavioral issues. We strive to address this challenge by intervening while the dog is still in their familiar home environment, working towards creating a more harmonious coexistence within the existing family. Through free Behavior Support, Shelter & Rescue Assistance, Mostly Canine Behavior Workshops and Training Opportunities, we are hoping to make behavior and training more accessible to our community.

Sanctuary

Aska’s Animals extends an invitation to specific animals, such as pigs, goats, chickens, and horses, to find sanctuary on a case-by-case basis. Many of these animals join our program when their previous owners could no longer care for them, or they faced less than ideal living conditions. Thanks to supporters like you, we can provide these animals with a lifetime guarantee, ensuring they can live out their lives in our care.
