HOW YOU CAN HELP
Aska’s Animal is growing alongside the increasing need for animal shelter support. In 2023, we welcomed a full-time employee committed to our canine behavior program. In 2024, we welcomed a full-time employee dedicated to nonprofit advancement. With the enthusiasm and support of our Board of Directors and volunteer team, we are ready to expand. Aska’s Animals is actively pursuing private donations, grants, and fundraising opportunities to help us provide compassionate support for animals, pet owners, and shelters in Teton Valley.
FIVE YEAR PLAN
Given the current landscape of animal rescue and the increasing requests for support from regional shelters, by 2029, the Aska’s Animals Team needs a larger structure to continue filling the gap between animal shelter and permanent rescue by housing homeless animals during their most vulnerable growth periods. Fortunately, Aska Langman, the Founder and Board President, owns the 50 acres of land that houses Aska’s Animals. With the right funding, there is abundant space to build a barn that accommodates a larger number of animals as well as offices for our growing team.
THE NUMBERS SAY IT ALL

WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE FARM?
Providing a progressive environment for animals through rehabilitation, adoption, education, and community outreach and filling the critical gap between shelter and permanent rescue.
PUPPY PALACES
Between 2021 and 2022, we constructed three Puppy Palaces, which have become the cornerstone of our non-profit. These innovative spaces not only address the immediate needs of puppies born in regional shelters but also contribute to our long-term goal of reducing the number of animals requiring rehoming or sanctuary care. Providing a stress-free environment with professional care, we offer early puppyhood development to reduce the likelihood of them entering the shelter system later in life. Our facilities can accommodate one to three litters, ranging from 5 to 35 puppies, for a typical care duration of two to eight weeks.
BEHAVIOR PROGRAM
In May 2023, a full-time Canine Behavior Specialist was hired at Aska’s Animals to prevent behavioral issues leading to shelter entries. Since then, 150 local dog owners received 1:1 Private Canine Behavior Support, 70 attended in-person and virtual Canine Behavior Workshops, 35 puppies graduated from Puppy Preschool in collaboration with the Animal Adoption Center, and support was provided to 25 behavior cases in regional shelters. We also added 9 free online canine behavior classes to our website. The program’s success depends on dedicated donors – thank you for enabling this full-time position!
SPAY/NEUTER & VET VISITS
A crucial aspect of animal rescue is vaccination and spay/neuter. Until now, Aska’s Animals has depended on regional partners to finance these requirements, but with our expansion, our goal is complete vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures while the animals are in our care. The animals will recover from surgery in the sanctuary, and our partnering rescues and shelters will be more inclined to accept them into their programs. For both the animals and the people involved in placing them in suitable homes, the process will be quicker and smoother.
FACILITY EXPANSION
As Aska’s Animals expands, we currently require additional facilities before constructing our ideal barn. Securing a rented house on the property offers a versatile solution, serving as office space, a community workshop venue, and additional canine accommodations, meeting various needs until our dedicated space is realized. A finally… a working toilet for staff, volunteers and supporters. If you’ve visited the farm, you’ve probably experienced our not-so-glamorous port-a-potty.
SPONSORSHIP LEVELS
Help us help them.
THE BARNYARD
The Barnyard Sponsorship is the embodiment of Aska’s Animals Foundation, reflecting the adaptability of our team to address diverse animal-related situations. Whether it’s rescuing a pig in a shelter system, taking in an unexpected litter of puppies, caring for incubator kittens, feeding goats, or ensuring the happiness of chickens, our sponsors play a crucial role. In return, sponsors enjoy benefits such as name/logo recognition on our website, an XL dog tag prominently displayed on the Sponsorship wall in the barn, monthly Newsletter acknowledgement and the privilege of hosting an exclusive private event of their choice.
$25,000
THE PUPPY PALACE
The Puppy Palace sponsorship reflects on Aska’s Animals dedication to this vulnerable population. We are committed to providing safe haven for homeless puppies and their mothers, providing early puppyhood development by our expert team. This sponsorship level mirrors the resources needed for constructing, maintaining, and populating three Puppy Palaces year-round, including transportation, labor, vaccinations, vet appointments, and supplies. Accommodating one to three litters (5 to 35 puppies) for two to eight weeks, support at this level is crucial to continue our work, with minimal days without puppies on site. Perks include website recognition, an XL dog tag prominently displayed on the Sponsorship wall in the barn, and monthly Newsletter acknowledgment.
$15,000
THE PIG PACK
Aska’s Animals provides sanctuary for 14 pigs and there are more on the way. Many of the animals that join our program do so because their previous owners could no longer provide adequate care, or they found themselves in less-than-ideal living situations. The Pig Pack exemplifies a group of 10+ pigs and financial needs required to give them sanctuary. This includes semi-annual tusk and hoof trimming, food, hay, and stall shavings. Sponsorship perks include name/logo recognition on our website and an XL dog tag prominently displayed on the Sponsorship wall in the barn.
$10,000
THE HORSE HAVEN
The Horse Haven mirrors the extended stay of horses at Aska’s Animals. Although only one horse currently resides on the farm, others have graced us with their presence, and we eagerly welcome more in the future. The horse sanctuary encompasses services such as hoof trimming, shoeing, provision of food, hay, and stall shavings. Sponsorship perks include name/logo recognition on our website and an XL dog tag prominently displayed on the Sponsorship wall in the barn.
$5,000
THE GOAT SHED
The Goat Shed highlights the goat sanctuary offered by Aska’s Animals. At present, three permanent goat residents find safety and care here, having been rescued from an uncertain fate. Your support guarantees they lead secure and enriching lives. Your support ensures they enjoy a secure and fulfilling life. Sponsorship perks include website recognition and an XL dog tag displayed on the Sponsorship wall in the barn.
$2,500
THE CHICKEN COOP
The Chicken Coop highlights the 30+ enduring chicken residents at Aska’s Animals. Chickens, often overlooked compared to puppies, pigs, and horses, may face severe consequences if they are not consistent egg producers. In our sanctuary, chickens freely roam the property and mingle with the pigs. At Aska’s Animals, chickens can live well beyond 10 years. Ensuring the well-being of these feathered friends involves providing them with consistent attention, feed, and secure living quarters. Sponsorship perks include name/logo recognition on our website.
